Made-to-Order Terms

Many of the items sold by Manos Zapotecas will be Made-to-Order especially for you! When you place an order, our weavers will begin crafting your handmade item immediately just for you. You will be the recipient of a work of weaving art that takes time, patience and skill to craft to perfection.

Made-to-order items can take 8 to 10 weeks. This time varies depending on the item being made and the lengthy dyeing and weaving process involved in some products. Often customers will receive their orders sooner, but please understand that it may take up to 10 weeks. When you receive your item, we are confident you will be satisfied that the time involved is well worth the end product and that you have helped keep an artistic tradition alive "one weaving at a time."

You will receive periodic updates regarding the status of your order and are welcome to contact us anytime during this process. Our weavers are happy to make one-of-a kind items for your enjoyment and use. If you would rather not wait for a Made-to-Order item, please feel free to browse our many products in the Available Now section. These items will ship within 48 hours of completed payment. 

All of our products are exquisitely handmade, one at a time. It is therefore difficult, if not impossible to make identical items the way a machine can. Our artisans are masters and strive for the highest quality and standards in every item they create. Because items are handmade there may be natural blemishes, and very slight variances in color and size which should not be misconstrued as flaws. These are what make each product charming and unique. The pictures may not be identical to the product you receive.
